Dear Malley Families,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Anne Wesley and I am the new principal at Malley Drive. I am very excited and honored to lead Malley Drive for the upcoming year. I have been in education for 21 years. My first six years were spent in California; I moved to Colorado in 1993 and joined Adams 12 Five Star School District. I began my Adams 12 career at North Mor Elementary as a 6th grade teacher. I then went to Northglenn Middle School where I taught 6th grade for 3 years. After my middle school experience, I knew my heart was in the elementary setting. I then went to North Star Elementary School where I taught 4th grade and 5th grade for 2 years and was a computer teacher and technology coach for 6 years. As the computer teacher/technology coach, I worked with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. It was a terrific experience to interact with all ages of children. After North Star, I served as the assistant principal at Thornton Elementary for three years. In 21 years of teaching and administration I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students and I have learned some of my most important lessons from them. from them. My goals for Malley Drive Elementary are to ensure that all students learn, to create a safe and caring environment for all who enter our building and to work with families and community members to make Malley Drive a vibrant part of the community. You will see me in and around the building. I look forward to working with your children and with you. Together we will create a brighter future for our children. I hope to meet you soon.
Sincerely,
Anne Wesley
Principal
